Atlantic Tire Distributors has openings for General Warehouse Workers/Fill-in Delivery Drivers!
We are seeking applicants to join our Atlantic Tire Distributors team in Wilmington, NC. Shift available:
9:00AM-5:30PM (Monday-Friday)
Starting Pay:
$17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Summary:
Manually and using powered equipment, move tires and stock materials in to and out of racked bins in a warehouse environment; perform other general labor as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. (You must not be afraid of heights, as use of an order picker at height is part of this position.) This is primarily a warehouse position with the possibility of driving a delivery truck as required by daily needs.
Drive a delivery truck (18-24ft Box truck) on a delivery route to deliver products to customers when requested. Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the competencies and/or ability required.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities; include but not limited to:
- Operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
- Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damages shipments.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner.
- Maintaining warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The environment may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
