TRAINING & OD - SR LEARNING SPECIALIST The Senior Learning Specialist is responsible for curriculum and program development, learning program management, instructional design, facilitation, evaluation of learning effectiveness, and LMS support. Working closely with managers and other business partners, this position will assess and identify compliance, professional development or other training needs and design, develop and monitor appropriate educational programs and solutions. The Senior Learning Specialist will audit and maintain content library assets, provide LMS support and training, facilitate workshops and sessions, and ensure the effective utilization of the LMS. Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Conduct needs assessments to identify skills and/or knowledge gaps 2. Create learning maps to scope and plan development or curation of curriculum or program content. 3. Plan, design, and develop high-quality, dynamic content and materials across a variety of formats. 4. Facilitate learning and organizational development sessions in a variety of modalities including workshops, webinars, virtual, classroom and blended. 5. Manage content library including version controls and review schedules. 6. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for adjunct faculty, and other facilitators as appropriate. 7. Analyze and report on effectiveness of course content and propose revisions. 8. Apply project management principles and tools to manage the full lifecycle of a project. 9. Conduct and document functional testing in LMS and recommend workflow changes as appropriate 10. Provide team member support and training on effective use of LMS functionality. 11. Support registrar tasks including schedules, enrollments, and reporting.   Experience: 1. Advanced proficiency in course authoring tools such as Articulate or Captivate and video generation and editing tools. 2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. 3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Comprehensive knowledge of instructional design methodology and best practices, adult learning theory, and evaluation methods. 5. Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet stated deadlines 6. Strong oral and written communication skills including instructional, facilitation, and presentation skills. 7. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects independently. Education: 5+ years of experience in instructional design and facilitating instructor-led, blended, and virtual learning for adults. The salary range for this position is $88K to $115K. The actual salary offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the budgeted amount for the role.
