Job Summary

This job is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the operational integrity of the network, ensuring high availability and performance. It independently drives network analysis, strategic planning, and problem resolution, while providing expert guidance to peers. The role is central to executing network changes and fostering cross-functional collaboration for continuous operational improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • **Seeking experience in: Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, MPLS, Routing**
  • Developing network improvement plans based on analytical data, including traffic patterns and performance metrics, to enhance operational excellence
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement network strategies and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and engineering standards
  • Investigating and resolving complex network issues, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools to minimize downtime and service disruptions
  • Leading network capacity planning efforts, conducting trend analyses, and recommending infrastructure upgrades to meet future demand
  • Overseeing the implementation of network changes, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and minimizing impact on service quality
  • Conducting rigorous testing and validation of network elements and systems to ensure stability and reliability before deployment
  • Providing expert-level support and guidance to less experienced colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development within the team
  • Streamlining network operations processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction through continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

This job can be performed in Colorado, and Illinois with a Pay Range of $76,936.29 - $126,944.87

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
