The posting

Comfort Keepers of Mid-Shore Maryland is currently hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one in-home care for our Maryland State clients in Chestertown and surrounding Kent County areas.

We are specifically looking for CNAs who have weekday daytime availability between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. These positions are ideal for caregivers looking for daytime hours while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults who need assistance in their homes.

Current Opportunities

  • $17.50 per hour for Maryland State client assignments
  • Weekday shifts between 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Chestertown and surrounding Kent County areas
  • One-on-one care in the client's home
  • Consistent assignments whenever possible
  • Scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
  • Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and supervision
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Follow the client's Plan of Care
  • Communicate changes or concerns to the Comfort Keepers office

Requirements

  • Current Maryland CNA certification required
  • Previous caregiving or home care experience required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current auto insurance
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening
  • Dependable and reliable attendance
  • Compassionate and professional attitude
