PRASAD ELECTRIC INC.

Office Administrator & Business Development Duties

Main Goal

Keep the office organized, support field operations, follow up on projects and payments, assist with estimating, and actively help Prasad Electric bring in new work.

1. Phone Calls & Emails

Answer company phone calls professionally.

Check and respond to company emails throughout the day.

Communicate with customers, general contractors, property managers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Forward important issues to Raj or the appropriate foreman/project manager.

Track all emails and calls that require follow-up.

2. Scheduling

Maintain the company calendar.

Schedule service calls, inspections, meetings, estimates, and job walks.

Confirm appointments with customers.

Coordinate schedules with foremen and field employees.

Track inspection dates and project deadlines.

3. Estimates & New Leads

Record every new customer or project lead.

Collect customer name, company, phone number, email, project address, project type, and expected start date.

Schedule job walks.

Follow up on estimates after they are submitted.

Maintain a bid log showing Pending, Won, or Lost projects.

4. Grow the Business

Search for commercial, residential, hotel, apartment, restaurant, retail, industrial, EV charger, generator, service upgrade, panel, switchgear, TI, and ground-up projects.

Build a database of general contractors throughout Northern California.

Call and email general contractors to introduce Prasad Electric.

Ask to be added to electrical subcontractor and bid lists.
