Join our family and transform your passion for coffee into a rewarding career—where every day is an opportunity to craft exceptional experiences and build lasting connections.   Position Overview   As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining brewing and serving equipment in a workshop setting. You play a critical role in ensuring our customers enjoy quality coffee products by keeping equipment clean, functional, and reliable. Key Responsibilities  

Prioritize and schedule repairs of brewing equipment to meet operational demands Inspect used parts to assess wear and dimensional changes Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to diagnose issues Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective components Examine parts for defects, such as changes in form or texture Adjust and calibrate functional components and control instruments Repair or replace faulty parts, install new structural or functional components Lubricate and clean mechanical parts to ensure smooth operation Conduct performance tests to verify repairs and ensure equipment functionality Manage and maintain accurate inventory of all repair parts May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.

  Position Requirements  

High school diploma or equivalent required

A passing score on an aptitude test may be accepted in lieu of a diploma

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or small appliance repair; HVAC experience is a plus Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing fundamentals Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID Successful completion of a pre-employment physical Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.

Field Sales Environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but may be moderately loud in warehouse areas.
