💫 Jouw missie

Als Sous-chef ondersteun je de Chef in het dagelijks leidinggeven aan de keuken en zorg je mee voor de uitvoering van hoogwaardige, smaakvolle gerechten voor onze klanten. Je draagt bij aan de organisatie, kwaliteit en continuïteit van de keukenactiviteiten en bewaakt samen met het team de hoge standaarden van Compass Group.

🎯 Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ondersteunen van de Chef bij planning, productie en dagelijkse operationele taken in de keuken.
  • Aansturen en coachen van keukenpersoneel tijdens je shifts om consistentie, kwaliteit en efficiëntie te garanderen.
  • Zorgdragen voor correcte mise-en-place, tijdige bereiding van gerechten en presentatie volgens voorgeschreven normen.
  • Controleren van inkomende leveringen, voorraadbeheer ondersteunen en melden van tekorten of afwijkingen.
  • Handhaven en controleren van hygiëne- en voedselveiligheidsprocedures (HACCP) en zorgen voor een nette, veilige werkplek.
  • Deelnemen aan menuontwikkeling en receptoptimalisatie, en bijdragen met creatieve ideeën voor seizoensgebonden of klantgerichte gerechten.
  • Vervangen van de Chef wanneer nodig en fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor collega's en de klant tijdens je shift.

🍴 Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt relevante ervaring in professionele keukens, bij voorkeur als Sous-chef of senior keukenmedewerker in horeca of collectieve catering.
  • Je beschikt over sterke culinaire vaardigheden, organisatorisch talent en een scherp oog voor kwaliteit en presentatie.
  • Je kunt leiding geven, motiveren en samenwerken in een divers team en behoudt rust onder druk.
  • Je bent bekend met hygiëne- en voedselveiligheidsnormen en werkt nauwgezet volgens procedures.
  • Je toont initiatief, flexibiliteit en probleemoplossend vermogen en bent bereid in wisselende uurroosters te werken.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en/of Frans. Basisvaardigheden met IT-tools zijn een plus.
