The posting

ComplyAdvantage is building a GTM Systems and Applied AI team, and this is the builder's seat. You own the systems that find, score, enrich, and route the right accounts to our business development team at the right moment, and you own the plays that run on top of them. You will not inherit a playbook. What you ship becomes how the company generates pipeline.

You will work AI-first by default. We run on Claude, and we expect you to use it to prototype workflows in hours rather than weeks, test plays before committing to them, and retire the manual process you find yourself repeating.

The Role:

Founding GTM Engineering hire - build the pipeline-generation engine for a category leader in financial crime prevention.

Sourcing & enrichment

  • Source the market: find the accounts and contacts that data vendors miss, by scraping and searching public sources such as company websites, registries, and job boards.
  • Own Clay and the enrichment stack: waterfalls, data sources, cost logic, quality monitoring, and write-back to Salesforce, our system of record.

Scoring

  • Own account scoring: design the model that ranks our market, set and defend the weightings, validate them against real pipeline, and update the model as signals arrive.

Pipeline generation

  • Build signal-based outbound: turn intent data, website signals, and ecosystem triggers into targeted plays that cut operational overhead for our BDRs and AEs.
  • Create evergreen motions: plays that run continuously and improve with data, not one-off list pulls.

Integration, automation & AI

  • Connect the stack: build and maintain integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Clay, and our data sources using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms, so data moves without manual handoffs.
  • Ship field automations: routing, scoring, and pipeline alerts that are reliable, debuggable, and documented.
  • Lead on AI use cases: research and qualification agents, rep-facing account intelligence, and whatever you invent, with guardrails. You will set the standard for how our GTM teams use AI.

Collaboration

  • Embed with customer-facing teams to learn how they work day to day and where automation and AI belong in their workflows.
  • Build within GTM Operations standards, partnering with our Salesforce administrators and BI team on integrations and data architecture.

What Does Success Look Like (First 3 Months)?

  • Clay owned: enrichment waterfalls audited, documented, and measurably improving data quality.
  • At least one new sourcing pipeline live, surfacing target accounts our current vendors miss.
  • Account scoring live with documented weightings, producing ranked target lists the business development team actually works.
  • Two to three field automations or integrations shipped.
  • One signal-based outbound play running end to end with the business development team, with pipeline attribution.

Skills and Experience

  • Has built pipeline-generation systems end to end, from sourcing through enrichment, scoring, routing, and measurement, with results you can quantify.
  • Sources data the hard way: web scraping and search APIs (such as ZenRows or Serper, or your own scrapers) to build lists that do not exist off the shelf.
  • Connects systems directly with APIs and webhooks and with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier; writes SQL and enough Python or JavaScript to fill the gaps.
  • Designs scoring logic you can defend: chooses the inputs and weightings, explains why, and validates them against real outcomes.
  • Deep, hands-on Clay expertise, and has shipped at least one AI or LLM workflow to production for a revenue team, with guardrails.
  • Works as a partner to business development and marketing rather than a ticket queue, and can hold an argument about B2B demand channels.

What’s in it for you?

  • Equity participation in our innovative mission to combat financial crime
  • Unlimited Time Off Policy to promote work-life balance and well-being
  • We embrace a hybrid approach that requires employees to be in the office for two days a week. We strongly believe that this approach fosters collaboration and enables the building of meaningful relationships
  • Opportunities for collaboration and career development with smart, like-minded professionals
  • Annual learning budget to support professional growth
  • A home office budget to support working from home
  • Enhanced parental leave and childcare benefits
  • Life insurance and medical coverage through BUPA, including pre-existing conditions
  • Pension contribution through The People's Pension

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
