Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage IT assets throughout acquisition, receipt, assignment, deployment, maintenance, transfer, refresh, recovery, and disposition.
  • Support primary Hand Receipt Holders and coordinate with the USMEPCOM PBO on property records, accountability, inventory, transfers, discrepancies, and disposition in accordance with DoD requirements.
  • Maintain current, complete, and traceable asset records (identifiers, serial numbers, models, custodians, locations, status, condition, warranty, and lifecycle dates) in systems of record.
  • Reconcile asset records with configuration-management, procurement, shipping, receiving, deployment, and maintenance records; investigate and resolve missing, duplicate, or discrepant records.
  • Plan and conduct physical inventories and audits, including schedules, instructions, and reconciliation procedures; validate equipment existence, location, assignment, and condition.
  • Prepare formal Asset Audit Reports documenting scope, methodology, results, discrepancies, and recommendations, and track findings through validated closure.
  • Maintain maintenance agreements, warranties, licenses, and support contracts; identify expiring coverage, unsupported or obsolete assets, and refresh needs, and coordinate renewals with procurement and finance.
  • Prepare disposition packages following PBO guidance for return, transfer, sanitization, and disposal, verifying approvals, sanitization evidence, and shipping records.
  • Maintain chain-of-custody and transfer documentation, and update records following installations, moves, refreshes, relocations, and removals.
  • Develop asset metrics and Monthly Status Report inputs, and maintain asset-management procedures, SOPs, templates, and reporting tools.
  • Integrate asset management with configuration, change, request, procurement, financial, and cybersecurity processes, and protect sensitive property information.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or a relevant technical degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT asset management, property management, logistics, inventory control, management analysis, or equipment-accountability experience.
  • Experience managing GFP in a federal or DoD environment and supporting Hand Receipt Holders and Property Book Offices.
  • Knowledge of DoD property-accountability, inventory, audit, transfer, and disposition requirements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
