The posting

In support of Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) mission. Team is made up of 4 personnel that is day shift only utilizing AFCYBER tool "Dispatch" on NIPR, SIPR, and AFSCI, on Big Data Platform in ELICSAR, Microsoft Teams Orders Tracker, DODIN Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts site, and email tools to manage programs. Team manages Air Force Command and Control cyber orders production in direct support of cyber operations across Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) on both NIPRNet and SIPRNet enclaves. Team works directly with local AFIN Mission Assurance Team (AMAC) leadership, AMAC Crew, AMAC Strategic Communications (STRATCOMMs), AMAC Procedures Team, Network Operations Squadrons (NOS) and Cyber Operations Squadron (COS), 690th Cyber Operations Group (COG), 688th Cyber Wing (CW) A-Staff, 616th Operations Center (OC), Headquarters 16th Air Force, Headquarters Cyberspace Capabilities Center (HQ CCC), Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN), and multiple other critical entities. Orders produced are, Task Orders (TASKORDs), General Admin Orders (GENADMINs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), Plan Orders (PLANORDs), Warn Orders (WARNORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs). Team manages the Air Force Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) program with base comm focal points, 616 OC, 16 AF, MAJCOM MCCCs, and ACCCs. POA&Ms authorize (once approved) specific plan and period for specific TASKORDs and OPORDs to be compliant when specific compliance date cannot be met.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Perform AFIN User Cyber Security Event Tracking and Resolution: Processes, coordinate, track, analyze, documents, and report compliance on AFIN TASKORD, PLANORDs, and WARNORDs. Collects, analyzes, documents, and reports AFIN incidents, mission reports (MISREPs), situation reports (SITREPs), and high interest items for trend analysis.
  • Perform Orders Management:
  • Review, coordinate, develop, and drafts 16 AF TASKORDs, GENADMINs, OPORDSs, WARORDs, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for related orders.
  • Tracks, coordinates, documenst, and report IAVA/Bs TASKORD compliance status.

Education & Experience

  • Required: IAT II – CySA+, or Security+ (or equivalent), or higher
  • Desired: ITIL v4 Foundation

Security Clearance

  • Active Top Secret/SCI

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

  • IAT II = Security +
  • This is a Monday – Friday days position. Core hours are 0600 – 1700 hours.
