Als Technisch Applicatiebeheerder werk je aan het beheer en de doorontwikkeling van bedrijfskritische applicaties binnen het ATMS-domein van Rijkswaterstaat. Deze systemen zijn essentieel voor het monitoren en aansturen van het Nederlandse wegennet en hebben direct impact op doorstroming, veiligheid en bereikbaarheid.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het stabiel en veilig functioneren van deze applicaties en zorgt ervoor dat incidenten snel en zorgvuldig worden opgelost. Daarnaast werk je actief aan verbeteringen, optimalisaties en automatisering binnen de beheeromgeving.

Je opereert in een complexe OT/IT-omgeving waar systemen 24/7 beschikbaar moeten zijn. Dat vraagt om nauwkeurigheid, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en een sterke focus op continuïteit. Je werkt nauw samen met engineers, leveranciers en stakeholders binnen Rijkswaterstaat en denkt mee over structurele verbeteringen binnen het applicatielandschap.

Naast het dagelijkse beheer werk je mee aan het implementeren van nieuwe functionaliteiten en het toekomstbestendig maken van bestaande systemen en integraties.

Hoe ziet dit er concreet uit? Je werkt aan de applicaties en integraties die het verkeersmanagement van Nederland mogelijk maken. Daarbij beheer en optimaliseer je onder andere Linux-gebaseerde omgevingen, PostgreSQL-databases, middleware-oplossingen en monitoringplatformen.

Je analyseert incidenten, voert wijzigingen door en bewaakt de performance en beschikbaarheid van bedrijfskritische systemen. Hierbij maak je gebruik van technologieën zoals Red Hat Enterprise Linux, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, HAProxy, message brokers, Splunk en Checkmk.

Daarnaast draag je bij aan automatisering met Bash en Ansible en werk je samen met engineers aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het platform. Zo zorg je ervoor dat vitale verkeerssystemen betrouwbaar, schaalbaar en toekomstbestendig blijven.
