Hospice Registered Nurse (Inpatient Unit – Wexford) Good Samaritan Hospice is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients and families in our Inpatient Unit located in Wexford, PA. This full-time position consists of three (3) 12-hour shifts per week, with required daylight and overnight availability, as well as participation in a weekend and holiday rotation. Position SummaryAs a Registered Nurse in the inpatient hospice setting, you will deliver skilled, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans collaboratively developed by the patient and/or family, attending physician, and the hospice interdisciplinary team. Your role is essential in ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families are compassionately met during end-of-life care. Qualifications•    Current RN license in the State of Pennsylvania (required)•    Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience (preferred)•    Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and care skills•    Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word•    Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail•    Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and physical exams at the beginning of each shift and as needed Provide direct personal care, including but not limited to:

Bathing, grooming, and dressing Feeding and vital sign monitoring Ambulation and positioning Transfers, hygiene, and skin care Light housekeeping and meal preparation

Offer holistic care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients; support families throughout the end-of-life journey, including at the time of deathEnsure timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation
