About the Role

We are seeking a motivated claims professional with a real passion for customer service and sound adjudication skills. After an initial onboarding and licensing period, you will progress to independently handling primary cyber claims from first notice to resolution, working closely with our underwriting and products teams and with specialized external vendors. This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.
In this role you will:
- Handle a growing portfolio of predominantly primary first-party cyber claims, supporting end-to-end adjudication with increasing independence as you progress
- Complete a structured onboarding program with mentorship from experienced cyber claims professionals, progressing from supervised to independent file handling
- Analyze coverage issues and draft clear, well-reasoned coverage letters and other correspondence
- Build working fluency in both primary and excess insurance claim environments
- Partner with customers and brokers to reach the best possible claim outcomes
- Coordinate quickly with external counsel and specialized vendors, such as forensic and incident response firms, to help customers respond to cyber incidents
- Work with our Operations team to ensure efficient claim administration and accurate data
- Contribute to analysis of claims portfolio results and help identify and explain claim trends
- Provide claims input on policy wordings and tailored client solutions
- Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance and Risk Management colleagues to share claims insights and support the management of clients and risk
- Represent Converge at industry conferences, client events and professional society functions as your experience grows.
About You

- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in coverage letters and customer correspondence
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, being personable on a video or phone call, even in a stressful situation, is a must
- Willingness to obtain required adjuster licenses, with our support
- Dependable self-starter who learns quickly, seeks feedback and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
- Focused, dedicated, trustworthy and accountable, with the discipline to do your best work in a fully remote setting
- Strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
- A team player who wants to work hard, have fun and help build a strong department and company culture
- University degree or equivalent
- A legal background (J.D. or paralegal experience) or technical familiarity is a plus
- Prior claims handling experience and familiarity with insurance are a plus
- Strong task and project management skills, and a goal-oriented mindset, are a plus
- The role may include up to 10% travel
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-5 years of similar or related work experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $85,000 to $135,000 annually (commensurate with experience and location).
- Total Compensation Context: This role may be eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity participation.
