Senior Data Engineer

Userfull Powered by ConXioN is op zoek naar een Database Engineer die zich thuis voelt in het ontwerpen, modelleren en beheren van complexe databases en data-omgevingen. In deze rol werk je zowel met bestaande productieomgevingen als met de opzet van nieuwe data-architecturen in de cloud. Userfull maakt deel uit van de ConXioN-Groep en opereert autonoom vanuit Boom.

In eerste instantie ondersteun je een project voor een groot, bestaand productiesysteem. Dit systeem draait op Oracle database-technologie – ervaring hiermee is een groot voordeel, maar geen absolute vereiste. In een volgende fase zal je een sleutelrol spelen in het opzetten en migreren van data warehouses naar de Microsoft Azure stack.

Jouw takenpakket als Data Engineer:

  • Je ontwerpt, modelleert en optimaliseert databases (tabellen, schema’s/namespaces, indexen).
  • Je schrijft en optimaliseert SQL-scripts, stored procedures en (eventueel) PLSQL.
  • Je onderhoudt en verbetert bestaande productieomgevingen.
  • Je draagt bij aan de transitie naar Azure: migratie en inrichting van data warehouses en integratie met Microsoft Fabric.
  • Je ondersteunt rapportage- en BI-oplossingen (Power BI of vergelijkbare reporting tools).
  • Proactief zoek je naar verbeteringen en automatiseringen (bijv. data syncs, servicebus, NoSQL).
  • Je adviseert over database-architectuur, performance tuning en best practices.

IT's a match?

  • Je hebt idealiter 3 jaar ervaring als Database Engineer, Database Administrator of Data Architect.
  • Je hebt een diepgaande kennis van SQL (DDL/DML), stored procedures en query-optimalisatie.
  • Je hebt kennis of sterke interesse in de Microsoft Azure data stack (o.a. Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric).
  • Ervaring met Oracle-databases is een groot voordeel, maar geen must.
  • Je hebt interesse in rapportage- en BI-oplossingen (Power BI is een plus).
  • Je hebt sterke interesse in nieuwe technologieën en automatisering (zoals servicebus, data syncs, NoSQL).
  • Je hebt sterke analytische vaardigheden en oog voor performance en schaalbaarheid.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar hebt oog voor samenwerken met ontwikkelteams en analisten.
