Deine Aufgaben:

  • Sicherstellung des Betriebs und der Weiterentwicklung der On-Premises-Cloud-Plattform auf Basis von Compute, SAN, Storage und VMware
  • Administration und Optimierung von VMware vSphere 8, ESXi und VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • Verantwortung für das vollständige Hardware-Lifecycle-Management der physischen Server-Infrastruktur
  • Unterstützung bei Cloud-Migrationsprojekten, insbesondere im Umfeld von EVS und AWS
  • Betreuung und Beratung interner Kunden bei der Cloud-Transformation
  • Identifikation und Umsetzung von Optimierungs- und Automatisierungspotenzialen in Betriebsprozessen
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern und Servicepartnern bei Hardware-Beschaffung, Wartung und Austausch
  • Sicherstellung der Plattformstabilität sowie regelmässige Teilnahme am Pikettdienst

Dein Profil:

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung in Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit VMware vSphere / ESXi, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) und VMware Aria Automation
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Datacenter-Infrastrukturen, insbesondere Compute, SAN und Storage
  • Erfahrung im Hardware-Lifecycle-Management, einschliesslich Beschaffung, Inventarisierung und Wartung
  • Erfahrung im Betrieb und in der Weiterentwicklung komplexer On-Premises-Cloud-Infrastrukturen
  • Kenntnisse in Cloud-Migrationen, idealerweise mit EVS oder AWS
  • Erfahrung mit agilen Arbeitsmethoden und Tools
  • Kenntnisse in PowerShell, JavaScript oder REST APIs zur Automatisierung von Betriebsaufgaben von Vorteil
  • Aktuelle VMware-Zertifizierungen (VCP / VCAP) im Bereich Data Center Virtualization von Vorteil
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit
  • Bereitschaft zur regelmässigen Übernahme von Pikettdiensten
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil
