The posting

Do you want to join a global fund manager in energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for an Analyst to join our Talent team based in Copenhagen.

Team

You will join the Talent team, responsible for how CIP attracts, develops and engages the people who drive our long-term success. The team combines people expertise, analytics, technology, and emerging AI capabilities to support strategic talent decisions and enable a high-performing organisation. The team's work spans talent attraction, onboarding, leadership and employee development, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and people analytics, ensuring CIP has the talent and capabilities needed to support its continued growth

Role

As a Talent Analytics & AI Analyst in the Talent team, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven talent and workforce decisions through analytical insights, reporting solutions, and decision materials for senior stakeholders. You will work closely with colleagues across Talent and the broader business on initiatives spanning people analytics, AI, technology, and organisational effectiveness.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact business challenges at the intersection of people, data, and technology, making it an ideal environment for someone who thrives in analytical, fast-paced settings and is eager to contribute to talent decision-making in a global organisation. Along the way, you'll build practical experience in analytics, AI, and business decision-making while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, making it an excellent stepping stone toward future roles in people analytics, Talent strategy, or broader business analytics.

The position is approximately 20-25 hours per week alongside your studies, with full flexibility around exam periods. Top performing Analysts may receive an offer to join us as full-time Associate upon graduation.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

  • Support strategic talent and workforce decisions through structured problem solving, quantitative analysis, and data-driven recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Develop and evolve reporting solutions, dashboards, and data products across Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, leveraging AI-enabled approaches to enable better business decisions
  • Apply AI, automation, and workflow technologies to streamline recurring reporting tasks, enhance insight generation, and improve turnaround time on people data requests.
  • Contribute to strategic People & Culture initiatives through research, benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, and project implementation support.

You

We are looking for a high-performing, analytical, and intellectually curious student with strong academic credentials, proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills, a keen interest in the People space and people analytics, and a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality work.

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Psychology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Previous experience from consulting, finance, analytics, research, student organisations, or similar analytical environments is an advantage.

We look for the following in a candidate:

Analytical & Quantitative Mindset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex challenges, identify key insights, and develop evidence-based recommendations.

Advanced Excel & Data Skills

  • Proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation and a strong interest in analytics, AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Communication & Storytelling

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate analyses and insights into clear, concise, and compelling messages tailored to different audiences.

High Work Ethic & Ownership

  • Demonstrates ownership, intellectual curiosity, and a track record of academic excellence and high-quality work while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Academic performance will be considered as an indicator of discipline, learning agility, and work ethic.

Curiosity About People & Talent

  • Genuine interest in talent, leadership, organisational effectiveness, people analytics, and the future of work.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
