About Copper

Copper is built for the way relationship-driven and service-based businesses actually work. Consultancies, financial services firms, agencies, and B2B teams aren't just closing deals. They're pitching new business, managing active client relationships, collaborating across teams, and delivering great work, often all in the same day. Their success depends on staying connected to their customers and not constantly updating another tool.

That's why we built Copper differently. As the only CRM solution that's a Recommended for Google Workspace app, we give teams one beautifully designed home for the entire client journey, from that first conversation to the final deliverable, right inside the tools they already know and love: Gmail, Calendar, and Drive. Contacts, deals, tasks, and projects, all living together in one place, so your team spends less time hunting for information and more time doing the work they're genuinely proud of.

30,000+ companies already trust Copper to help them take care of their client relationships, and we're just getting started. We're backed by significant funding, growing fast, and building something big: the modern operating system for businesses that run on relationships, not just transactions. We'd love for you to help us build it!

The Role

We’re looking for a Manager, Demand Generation to execute and continuously improve the acquisition programs that create qualified demand, pipeline and new business revenue for Copper.

Reporting to the Senior Growth Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimization of our paid acquisition programs, while proactively identifying new channels, audiences, offers and experiments that can expand our reach and improve performance.

You’ll bring a strong performance marketing foundation together with a full-funnel mindset. Success won’t be measured by clicks, CPL or lead volume alone. You’ll understand how acquisition activity translates into ICP fit, demos and trials, pipeline, conversion and ultimately revenue — and you’ll use those signals to recommend where we should optimize, test and invest next.

This is a highly hands-on and analytical role. You’ll work closely with Growth Operations, Sales, Creative/Content, GTM Data & BI, RevOps and Product to understand what’s happening throughout the funnel, identify opportunities and translate insights into action.

Success in this role comes from being relentlessly curious about performance — identifying changes before someone else has to point them out, understanding why they’re happening, and continuously improving how Copper acquires and converts demand.

  • Execute Paid Acquisition: Lead the day-to-day execution and optimization of Copper’s paid acquisition programs, including campaign structure, bidding, targeting, audiences, budgets, pacing and performance optimization, in partnership with the Senior Growth Operations Manager
  • Drive Channel Performance: Own performance across core paid channels including Google Ads and LinkedIn, while identifying opportunities to test and scale additional channels such as Meta, Reddit, Quora, programmatic, sponsorships, paid partnerships and other emerging acquisition opportunities
  • Optimize for Full-Funnel Outcomes: Evaluate acquisition performance beyond CPL and lead volume, using ICP fit, lead quality, demos, trials, pipeline, conversion, attribution and revenue contribution to inform channel and campaign decisions
  • Monitor and Diagnose Performance: Proactively identify meaningful changes in volume, quality, conversion, spend or channel performance, investigate the drivers behind them and recommend clear actions to improve results
  • Build an Experimentation Roadmap: Research and propose new acquisition initiatives across channels, audiences, targeting, offers, creative, messaging and landing pages, and measure their downstream impact throughout the funnel
  • Identify New Acquisition Channels: Continuously research new platforms, tactics and opportunities, developing structured tests to determine where Copper can efficiently reach and convert its target customers
  • Manage Budget Pacing: Manage day-to-day budget pacing and channel allocation within agreed investment parameters, surfacing opportunities to increase, reduce or shift spend based on performance
  • Forecast Acquisition Performance: Develop channel forecasts, monitor results against plan and provide clear recommendations to the Senior Growth Operations Manager on where investment should shift
  • Strengthen Measurement & Attribution: Partner with Growth Operations and Data & BI to ensure campaigns are supported by reliable measurement, including GA4/GTM, conversion tracking, offline conversions, UTMs, CRM feedback loops and attribution
  • Connect Marketing to Revenue: Work closely with Sales and RevOps/Data to understand lead quality, ICP alignment, pipeline progression and conversion, using downstream feedback to continuously improve acquisition strategy
  • Partner on Creative & Content: Work with Creative and Content partners to develop and test messaging, offers, formats and creative that improve acquisition and conversion across channels
  • Optimize Landing Experiences: Identify and test opportunities to improve landing pages, offers and conversion paths in partnership with Growth Operations, Creative and Product
  • Partner on Funnel Optimization: Work closely with Growth Operations to identify friction throughout the pre-purchase funnel and ensure acquisition strategy is aligned with lead scoring, routing, nurture, assisted and self-serve motions
  • Measure What Matters: Build a clear understanding of channel and campaign performance across spend, CAC, conversion, pipeline contribution, revenue and ROI, using data to guide ongoing investment decisions
  • Communicate Performance Clearly: Provide regular, actionable updates on what's working, what's not, what we're learning and where Copper should invest next
  • Coordinate External Partners: Work directly with agencies and specialized partners, including Webflow, Creative and SEO/AEO resources, where additional execution support is needed, ensuring their work is aligned with campaign priorities, timelines and performance goals
  • Continuously Improve: Stay current on changes across paid platforms, B2B acquisition, measurement and emerging technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to improve Copper's approach
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS performance marketing, demand generation or paid acquisition, with demonstrated success generating meaningful lead and pipeline volume at scale
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads and LinkedIn, including campaign structure, bidding, targeting, audience development, budget management and optimization
  • Experience working across additional acquisition channels such as Meta, Reddit, Quora, programmatic, sponsorships, paid partnerships, listicles or other emerging channels
  • A strong experimentation mindset and the ability to research unfamiliar channels, develop a testing strategy, evaluate results and determine whether and how to scale
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS acquisition and conversion funnels, with the ability to connect marketing activity to ICP fit, demos, trials, pipeline, revenue and customer acquisition economics
  • Strong analytical instincts and the ability to proactively identify changes in performance, diagnose underlying causes and recommend actions without waiting for someone else to surface the problem
  • Experience designing and evaluating experiments across audiences, offers, creative, messaging, channels and landing pages
  • Strong understanding of measurement and attribution, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, offline conversions, UTMs, CRM feedback loops and ROI analysis
  • Experience managing significant paid acquisition budgets, including pacing, forecasting and channel allocation
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics including CPL, CAC, CVR, pipeline contribution, revenue attribution and ROI
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Creative/Content, RevOps, Data, Product and Operations teams
  • Ability to turn performance data into clear recommendations and communicate what's working, what's not and where investment should shift
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the broader funnel and business impact of acquisition decisions
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and adapt quickly as performance, market conditions and business priorities change
  • A self-starter mentality. You don't wait for someone to tell you a channel has stopped performing; you identify it, understand why and determine what we should do next

Why work here?

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive benefits and time-off/leave policies
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Flexible fully remote work hours
  • Generous stock options
  • Maternity/paternity top-up
  • Monthly internet and cell phone allowance
  • Learning & Development program

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
