The posting

De Account Manager fungeert als intermediair tussen de klanten en de organisatie. Is klantgericht en heeft sterke communicatieve eigenschappen. Is in staat de behoeften van klanten op excellente wijze te vertalen naar onze operationele afdelingen. De Account Manager is iemand die zich verbonden voelt met zijn klanten en met dat uitgangspunt er mede zorg voor draagt dat de klant optimaal bediend wordt. De Account Manager zal veelvuldig in contact staan met bestaande en potentiële klanten alsmede overige serviceproviders met als doel klanten te ontzorgen en op de hoogte te blijven van ontwikkelingen in de markt. Is zich bewust van de interne mogelijkheden van onze dienstverlening en doelstellingen en zal zich te allen tijde opstellen als ambassadeur van ons bedrijf.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden o.a.

  • Is het 1ste aanspreekpunt van de klant (single point of contact);
  • Het onderhouden van de relatie en de contacten met bestaande en potentiële klanten, inclusief het bezoeken en ontvangen van cliënten en andere serviceproviders, zoals terminal medewerkers, scheepsagenten, etc.;
  • Minimaal 2 x per jaar een persoonlijk bezoek aan eigen klanten (afhankelijk van locatie en omzet klant);
  • Actief contact zoeken met prospects (zoals receivers waar Saybolt nog geen contact mee heeft)
  • Signaleert behoeftes van de klant;
  • Informeert klanten tijdig en uitgebreid ten aanzien van nominaties en voorziet de klant van advies of doet voorstellen omtrent mogelijkheden;
  • Biedt ondersteuning aan de interne en externe klanten in zowel technische als organisatorische zin;
  • Het accepteren van opdrachten van cliënten;
  • Het creëren van foutloze instructies aan Operations en Laboratorium;
  • Volgt de planning/programma van de klant in nauwe samenwerking met operations of laboratorium;
  • Monitort uitvoering van werkzaamheden en rapportage. Is eindverantwoordelijk voor de correct uitvoering van de opdrachten;
  • Onderhoudt nauw contact met de planner en/of laboratorium en voorziet deze van de noodzakelijke informatie, zodat zij de juiste handvatten hebben om de planning te volgen en de juiste prioriteiten te kunnen stellen;
  • Het ervoor zorgdragen dat alle settings correct zijn in de software (connect), zodat opdrachten soepel afgehandeld kunnen worden;
  • Verantwoordelijk voor correcte en volledige facturatie-adviezen;
  • Ontzorgt daar waar mogelijk de klant;

Functie - eisen

  • Bij voorkeur een hbo-opleiding of mbo-4 opleiding met verkregen hbo denk -en werk niveau (nautisch of commerciële richting) of ten minste 5 jaren relevante ervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
  • Goede beheersing van de Engelse en Duitse taal in woord en geschrift
  • Kennis van vervoer gevaarlijke stoffen
  • Kennis van raffinaderijen en installaties
  • Kennis van zee- en binnenvaart
