The posting

Company provides technology and operational support to service businesses. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the reliability, functionality and quality of technology platforms, system integrations and reporting infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work with technology and operations teams to validate system functionality, investigate technical issues and maintain the quality and reliability of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review system specifications, business requirements and technical documentation to develop appropriate test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression and system testing for technology platforms and related applications.
  • Validate data accuracy, system outputs, reporting functions and interfaces between integrated systems.
  • Identify, document, track and retest software defects and technical issues.
  • Work with developers, system engineers and operations personnel to investigate root causes and verify corrective actions.
  • Perform system verification following software updates, configuration changes and integration releases.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in investigating incidents affecting platform functionality or data integrity.
  • Prepare test reports, maintain quality documentation and recommend improvements to testing procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and system reliability.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience in quality assurance, software testing, system validation or technical support.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect life cycle management and test documentation.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, validate system behavior and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with system integrations, data validation, reporting systems or financial technology platforms would be advantageous where relevant to the role.
