The posting

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to be part ofa growing team in Tucson AZ. In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and enhance their quality of life.

Schedule:

  • Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month
  • One flex day off scheduled during the week if working a weekend

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, massage, and physical modalities as directed.
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and families on continued care and exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona.
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
