  • Track leading and lagging indicators and report trends, including KPI dashboards, to regional and global leadership.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture, including hazard reporting, stop-work authority, and recognition programs.
  • Manage regional budget and staffing plans and a network of third-party EHS service providers.
  • Maintain a 24/7/365 on-call posture for mission-critical incident response and regulatory notification support.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, first responders, and insurance/risk partners across the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 15+ years of progressive EHS experience, including at least 5 years in a multi-site or regional leadership role.
  • Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical facilities, or other 24/7 high-hazard industrial operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing EHS programs across multiple U.S. states, with direct experience managing regulatory engagement with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Required certification: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), or NEBOSH qualification.
  • High EHS technical proficiency, with proficiency using an enterprise EHS management information system and data-driven reporting.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership, and the ability to prioritize across multiple workstreams in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40-60% of the time, including domestic U.S. and Canada travel, and to walk data center floors, mechanical/electrical yards, and construction sites using required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
