Our Internship Programme gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience, work on meaningful projects and contribute to technologies that make a real difference to patients’ lives. Based at our Pymble office, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals across a range of disciplines, gaining valuable insight into the medical device industry while developing your technical, professional and problem-solving skills. Our 12-week internship is designed to give you the opportunity to apply your university learning in a collaborative, innovative and supportive environment, while making a genuine contribution to the business. The role is due to start on Monday 7th December. What will you learn and do? The objective of our Internship Programme is to give you a first-hand understanding of what it’s like to work as a biomedical engineer in the orthopaedic industry. Weeks 1–2 Discover Corin and orthopaedics You’ll start by getting to know our business, our products and processes the people behind them. You’ll also develop a deeper understanding of hip anatomy, total hip replacement surgery and the technologies used in the operating theatre. Weeks 3–11 Gain real-world experience You’ll be assigned to one of our specialist teams: · Design Engineering · Sustaining Engineering · Clinical Affairs · Quality · Software Engineering Working with our teams you’ll contribute to real projects and challenges, gaining practical experience and insight into how medical devices are designed, developed, tested and brought to market. Weeks 12 Share your experience At the end of your internship, you’ll reflect on your experience and present your key learnings, insights and achievements to the Corin team. This is an opportunity to showcase what you’ve learned and the contribution you’ve made during your time with us. What are we looking for? We’re looking for enthusiastic and curious penultimate-year Biomedical Engineering students who have a genuine interest in orthopaedics, medical technology or surgical innovation.
