Interim Executive Director - Assisted Living Community

Location: Holmen, Wisconsin

1099 Independent Contractor Role

About Us:

VeriCore Consulting Group partners with assisted living and senior care providers to deliver operational leadership, compliance support, and clinical consulting services. We are seeking an experienced Interim Executive Director to step into a leadership role and support a Wisconsin based assisted living community during a period of transition.

Position Overview:

As the Interim Executive Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensure regulatory compliance, support staff and residents, and maintain a positive, resident-centered culture. This role requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to stabilize and guide the community during a change in permanent leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, and resident services.
  • Ensure compliance with Wisconsin state assisted living regulations.
  • Lead and mentor department heads and team members to deliver high-quality care.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Report regularly to corporate leadership on community performance and key metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Director or similar leadership role in assisted living or senior living.
  • Strong knowledge of Wisconsin assisted living regulations and operational compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and stabilize operations.
  • Must be available for an on-site, interim assignment.

Compensation & Details:

  • Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
  • Travel and lodging reimbursement provided if applicable.
  • Flexible assignment duration depending on community needs.
