  • Explain technical topics clearly, making complex concepts accessible through structured presentations and practical examples.
  • Manage classroom Q&A, monitor chat activity, and maintain positive engagement and energy throughout sessions.
  • Adjust lesson pacing and presentation methods to accommodate diverse learning needs while ensuring planned material is covered on schedule.
  • Coordinate closely with program operations personnel to ensure smooth delivery and adherence to teaching schedules.
  • Contribute to lesson design, curriculum development, and course improvements by documenting feedback, edits, and recommendations.
  • Respond thoughtfully and promptly to learner questions, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to student success.
  • Maintain professional, respectful communication with learners, colleagues, contractors, and guest speakers.
  • Provide constructive feedback to program teams to improve instructional quality and the overall learning experience.
  • Support scheduled weekday and weekend sessions as required by program needs.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related technical field.
  • A degree in a technical discipline.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or a related credential, such as CISM.
  • Previous teaching or training experience, preferably in a remote learning environment.
  • Experience teaching foundational technical concepts to learners with varying levels of experience.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex material clearly and engagingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people-management skills, including the ability to manage large virtual classes.
  • Experience working with Unix terminals, particularly cybersecurity-related applications.
  • Familiarity with networking, Kali Linux, endpoint security, cybersecurity triage, and CompTIA Security+ certification topics.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for education, learner development, and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, responsiveness, flexibility, and attention to lecture preparation.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to incorporate feedback to improve teaching methods and course content.
  • Remote work: Deliver instruction from a remote location.
  • Meaningful impact: Help learners develop practical cybersecurity skills and prepare for technical career opportunities.
  • Large-scale teaching experience: Engage with diverse virtual classrooms, potentially reaching thousands of learners.
  • Professional development: Strengthen your expertise in cybersecurity education, technical communication, and online instruction.
  • Curriculum influence: Contribute feedback and recommendations that help improve learning materials and course delivery.
  • Flexible program opportunities: Indicate availability for one or both of the scheduled cybersecurity programs.
  • Hourly compensation: Compensation is determined by location, experience, education, and skill set. Candidates are asked to provide their hourly rate expectations in USD.
  • Upcoming program dates: UK program: January 18 to July 9, 2027, with lectures on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. UK time. US program: January 21 to July 10, 2027, with lectures on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
