Professional Staff Positions

The Council Rock School District continually accepts applications and screens for all Professional Staff positions. In order to begin the process of joining the Council Rock School District, you must complete this application. After you have submitted your application, your application will be reviewed. You can apply to our building level job postings only if you have submitted a fully completed Phase 1 Initial Application for Professional Staff. Any offer will be contingent upon you passing our professional centralized screening process.

You will be required to upload the following documents in order to complete this application:

1. College transcripts - This is for all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended. Please put all transcripts into one PDF file and upload as a one document. Transcripts should show that your degree(s) have been conferred. For recent or soon to be graduates, your transcript will not say conferred immediately. You may upload your most recent transcript. You will be asked for the final transcript during the screening process. Your application will be reviewed but is pending receipt of your final transcript to complete the centralized screening process.

2. PA Teaching Certification - Please upload in PDF format your PA teaching certificate. If you are a recent graduate and do not have your PA Certification yet, you will need to upload a copy of your Praxis/PECT score report. If possible a letter from your college/university indicating you have met all the requirements for graduation and for obtaining PA certification. If you have not taken your certification test(s), please include a confirmation of when you are scheduled to sit for your test(s).

3. Clearances (Not required for application submission) - Upon receiving an offer of employment, you will be required to submit valid (within one year) clearances in order to start working.

  • PA State Police for Criminal Records Check (Act 34)
  • Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  • Federal Criminal History (IdentoGo).

4. At least two Letters of Recommendation. Please upload in PDF format at least two letters of recommendation/reference. At least one recommendation/reference should be from a supervisor knowledgeable of your work in the classroom.

6. Comprehensive Resume - Include Awards/Recognitions, college and work related activities and volunteerism
