Im Advanced Process Control (APC) Team von Covestro in Leverkusen erhältst du spannende Einblicke in die industrielle Regelungstechnik, moderne Prozessoptimierung und Python-basierte Softwareentwicklung. Gemeinsam mit erfahrenen Kolleg arbeitest du an Lösungen, die unsere chemischen Produktionsprozesse effizienter und leistungsfähiger machen.

Neben unseren vielfältigen Benefits erwartet dich ein Bruttostundenlohn von 20 € zuzüglich Weihnachts- und Urlaubsgeld.

Wir bieten dir flexible Arbeitszeitmodelle mit 10, 15 oder 18 Stunden pro Woche während der Vorlesungszeit. Teile uns gerne mit, welches Modell am besten zu deinem Studium passt.

Das erwartet dich – deine Aufgaben

  • Du unterstützt unser APC-Team bei der Entwicklung von Regelkonzepten, der Auslegung von PID-Reglern und der Inbetriebnahme von Advanced-Process-Control-Projekten an unseren Produktionsstandorten.
  • Du führst dynamische Prozesssimulationen chemischer Anlagen mit Honeywell UniSim durch, um Regelstrategien zu überprüfen und das Prozessverhalten unter verschiedenen Betriebsbedingungen zu analysieren.
  • Je nach deinen Vorkenntnissen wirkst du an der Implementierung von Model Predictive Control (MPC) und der Entwicklung moderner Closed-Loop-Regelungslösungen mit.
  • Du unterstützt die Entwicklung Python-basierter Tools, Dashboards und Web-Frontends, um interne APC-Prozesse zu optimieren und Daten anschaulich zu visualisieren.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit erfahrenen Prozessingenieur zusammen, übernimmst Aufgaben nach fachlicher Anleitung und sammelst wertvolle Praxiserfahrung im industriellen Umfeld.

Damit überzeugst du – dein Profil

  • Du bist in einem technischen oder naturwissenschaftlichen Studiengang immatrikuliert, idealerweise in Chemieingenieurwesen, Verfahrenstechnik, Regelungstechnik, Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet.
  • Du hast erste Kenntnisse in Regelungstechnik, Prozesssimulation oder Automatisierungstechnik erworben, beispielsweise im Studium oder durch eigene Projekte.
  • Du bringst Grundkenntnisse in Python mit oder hast Interesse, dich in die Programmierung einzuarbeiten.
  • Du arbeitest sorgfältig und strukturiert, bist neugierig und hast Freude daran, dich in neue technische Themen einzuarbeiten.
  • Du verfügst über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
