The posting

Are you passionate about creating great workplace experiences? Do you thrive on creating structure, solutions, and smooth workplace experiences?

At COWI, we believe that the workplace is more than just a building—it is an environment where people can collaborate, innovate, and thrive. We are looking for an engaged and service-minded Site Manager to join our Sustainable Workplace Services (SWS) team in Aarhus.

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

To gain consistent and high-quality workplace experience, we are looking for a Site Manager to join Sustainable Workplace Services. You will oversee and coordinate outsourced workplace services and follow up on supplier performance, service targets and KPIs. The role combines daily operational coordination within compliance, budget awareness / invoice control and close stakeholder collaboration.

The role requires a visible on-site presence and close engagement with local stakeholders. Your working time will be divided between our two Aarhus offices, while also supporting and overseeing workplace services in Hamburg through regular collaboration with local stakeholders and service providers.

Occasional travel to Hamburg could be required.

You will report to the Team Lead in Sustainable Workplace Services.

Your key responsibilities will be

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace services are delivered to the highest standards through close collaboration with our external Integrated Facility Management partner. Build a close day-to-day collaboration with our Integrated Facility Management partner and ensure smooth delivery across cleaning, canteen, handyman services, space management, waste handling, building maintenance, technical installations and security.
  • Follow up on contractual responsibilities, KPIs, service targets, invoices, quality standards and agreed deadlines in alignment with your manager.
  • Collaborate ISO-related activities with the supplier and help ensure continued compliance within SWS standards, procedures and sustainability objectives.
  • Address workplace issues promptly and coordinate the right follow-up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support budget follow-up and cost management for your area of responsibilities.
  • Provide practical site and reception support when needed.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or suppliers. You build trust by acting respectfully, following through on agreements and keeping a strong focus on the workplace experience.

On top of that, we expect you:

  • Have experience from workplace services, facility management, supplier coordination, or a comparable operational role.
  • Are confident coordinating outsourced services and following up on service quality and delivery.
  • Work in a structured way and can balance daily operations, administration, deadlines and stakeholder needs.
  • Are service-oriented, approachable and able to create constructive working relationships.
  • Can communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Have basic budget understanding and are comfortable monitoring invoices.
  • Professional proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

Additional opportunities in the role

Depending on experience and business needs, the position may include an additional role as ESG Lead, supporting sustainability initiatives, ESG-related follow-up and alignment with SWS standards and objectives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
