The posting

Don’t believe in learning by watching? Then start by doing! At CRANIUM, you won’t be stuck reviewing documents and writing advice on paper. You’ll help clients use the law to solve real problems, from AI contracts to GDPR compliance.

As Junior digital law consultant, you’ll be part of our Digital Law team: a group of legal minds, tackling legal challenges in AI, data, and digital strategy who make the law work in the real world.

And yes, you’ll work on live projects from the start, with mentoring, check-ins, and space to grow to help you get started.

What you'll do.

As part of our legal team, you’ll:

  • Support clients with advice on contracting, ICT law, AI law, and data protection
  • Dig into legal research and help translate these abstract laws into practical advice for the client
  • Join client meetings, listen actively, and present findings that bring solutions
  • Help spot legal risks before they become business blockers
  • Keep learning and share knowledge with colleagues; you’re never working alone here

You’ll work across sectors and alongside consultants in tech, privacy, compliance, and even security. Working at CRANIUM is doing legal work that goes beyond the textbook.

What you bring.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Master in Law. LLM in IP & ICT is a plus.
  • Has between 1 to 3 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in law firms is a plus.
  • Has a strong interest in digital law and emerging tech and is willing to keep on deepening their knowledge.
  • Enjoys solving legal puzzles and turning problems into innovative solutions.
  • Communicates clearly and openly, you are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English, both spoken and in writing.
  • Brings positive energy, curiosity, and a “yes we can” mindset through taking initiative and aiming higher in every task.
  • Works well with others: is sociable, collaborative, and honest with colleagues and clients alike.

Why join CRANIUM.

We’re not a law firm. We’re not a Big Four giant either.

We’re a team of 90+ consultants passionate about privacy, data and digital innovation, working across Belgium and Europe to build a future where legal, ethical, and business logic align.

At CRANIUM, you’ll find:

  • Room to grow: We support junior consultants like Lisa, who joined via our Young Graduate Programme and is now leading creative awareness campaigns for global clients. Curious to learn from first hand-experience? Read Lisa’s journey here.
  • A people-first culture: You’ll get flexibility where it counts, clear expectations, and a team that helps you succeed, whether you're working from home or on-site with a client.
  • Passion for excellence that lifts you up: From tailored training to on-the-job coaching, you’ll get the tools, mentoring and feedback to deliver your best work, grow your expertise, and feel proud of what you achieve.

What you get in return for your work:

We know top talent comes in many forms. We reward yours with:

  • A competitive salary and plenty of extras: meal vouchers, eco vouchers, insurance, bonus system
  • A mobility budget you can customise, or opt for a company car
  • An annual learning budget and access to the CRANIUM Academy to grow your legal, consulting and people skills
  • Health & wellbeing perks: Alan health insurance, access to specialists, our office gym, yoga, padel…
  • Flexible working arrangements, as we want you to build a successful career and deliver excellent customer service, without sacrificing your personal priorities.
  • Regular check-ins with your people manager, because support shouldn’t end at onboarding

Note for Junior Applicants.

If you are a recent graduate or have limited experience in digital law or privacy, you’ll be invited to join our Young Graduate Programme. This programme is designed to help you grow alongside peers, get hands-on experience, and fully immerse yourself in the CRANIUM culture.

Our programme for September 2026 is now full.

We are always happy to receive new applications. Please feel free to send us your CV, and we will keep it on file. We will contact you once applications open for a new programme, which is expected to be no earlier than February 2027.

If you wish, you can give us consent to keep your CV on file until the next programme starts. This is completely optional and does not affect your application.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
