The posting

Job description

At Creature Comforts, we’re redesigning the entire veterinary experience, making access to care seamless, joyful, and every day. Our clinics are beautifully designed, powered by in-house, purpose-built technology, and shaped by teams who genuinely want to be there. We’re building the vet group of the future, and we’re looking for a Weekend Veterinary Surgeon to help us bring it to life.

This is not a locum gig dressed up in a job title. It’s a permanent, salaried role designed for vets who want stability, a proper team.

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid first-opinion experience.
  • A confident, empathetic communicator who can make clients feel calm, informed and respected.
  • Comfortable making clinical decisions independently while knowing when to pick up the phone.
  • Adaptable and happy working across different sites and teams, you can read the room and bring consistency wherever you’re based.
  • Naturally collaborative, you lift the team up, especially on busy days.
  • Curious about better ways of working
  • Perform surgical operations and procedures with precision and care
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in pets
  • Provide compassionate and informative consultations to pet owners
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Build genuine relationships with members and their pets, and slot smoothly into each clinic’s rhythm so the experience feels seamless to clients.
  • Communicate clearly: estimates, informed consent, treatment plans, follow-up. Joy lives in the details.

Job benefits

  • Generous CPD allowance
  • Working in a beautiful clinic, alongside highly skilled veterinary professionals
  • Being part of a people (and animal) first culture
  • 200 hours annual leave, plus your birthday off after 1 year
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme provided by Nest
  • World class team, with room to grow and learn
  • Regular company social events

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

More applications. More interviews.

Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting and paid once. Send enough of them and the law of large numbers finds you the job.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
