As our Founding AE, you are the tip of the spear for Credal’s growth. You'll be starting meaningful conversations with technical leaders, security teams, and executives at the world's most important institutions.

As the first AE, you’ll collaborate with marketing, growth, and partnerships. This role is a full-stack AE, and the day-today will have everything from demand generation to post-sales hand off!

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

- Help shape our first-touch strategy, from crisp, personalized emails and warm introductions to thoughtful cold outreach and creative campaigns

- Build the outbound playbook, working directly with our GTM and leadership team to figure out what messaging resonates, which channels work, and how we scale what works

- Hold high-signal initial conversations, understand a prospect's pain points, and seamlessly bridge them to the rest of our team

- Share real-time market feedback directly with our engineering and marketing teams to refine our narrative and product roadmap

- You will own the entire pipeline, from demand generation till deal close!

ABOUT YOU

You might be a great fit if you're a high-ownership, naturally curious builder who loves the challenge of opening doors and starting hard conversations. Who you are:

- You have high agency and bias toward action. You don't wait for a playbook or a list of leads. You build hypotheses, test new outreach angles, and refine your approach every day.

- You write with clarity, empathy, and conciseness. You know how to capture the attention of a busy executive or engineer in three sentences without sounding like a template.

- You're deeply curious about technology. You don't need to be an engineer, but you love learning how modern tech works and can confidently discuss complex AI and security ideas.

- You have great communication, both internal and external facing

Bonus points:

- Prior experience in a BDR/SDR, growth, or outbound role at an early-stage or developer-focused startup.

- Familiarity with the modern AI or developer tools landscape.
