The posting

The Cambridge Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our team in Smyrna, GA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing delicious meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and working collaboratively to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Ensure all food is stored properly and safely
  • Assist with inventory management and order supplies as needed
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations

Shift Details

  • 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • 4 on 2 off rotation
  • Available weekends & holidays on rotation

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
