Do you take pride in creating a clean, comfortable experience for guests? Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis – Beale Street is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy fresh, clean linens and towels throughout their stay. If you're organized, hardworking, and enjoy working behind the scenes to support a great guest experience, we'd love to hear from you!

Overview:

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Potential Career Paths:

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
  • Load dryers.
  • Know the operating function of the machines.
  • Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
  • Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
  • Place folded linen on marked shelves.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
  • Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.
