Assured Personnel Limited, based in Swords, Co. Dublin, are currently seeking Car Mechanics to work for its client, MB Motors based in Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 TE83.Duties & Responsibilities- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and test drives.- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, tyre repairs, alignments, and fluid checks.- Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and other mechanical components.- Inspect vehicles for faults, wear, and potential issues, providing accurate repair recommendations.- Complete service and repair records accurately and in line with company procedures.- Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards and meets safety and compliance requirements.- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding necessary repairs and timelines.- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop area.- Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies, diagnostic methods, and repair procedures.Requirements & Experience- Candidate must be competent to carry out all duties listed above- Minimum 3 years of previous experience working as a mechanic- Mechanic/motor technician qualification is an advantage but is not required- Proven experience working as a car mechanic or vehicle technician.- Experience working in a garage and with fleet of vehicles- Knowledge of vehicle electronics and diagnostics- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.- Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong communication and customer service skills.- Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hourWork Location: MB Motors, Airside Motor Park, Airside Retail Park, Swords, Co Dublin, K67 TE83Number of hours work each week: 39If you're interested in this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV to <a href="mailto:[email protected]" rel="nofollow">[email protected]</a> or call 019020688 to enquire for more details
