The posting

Want to revolutionize the future of education and do meaningful work that transforms future generations' lives?

Join our global team as an Online Science Teacher for our partner school programme and teach Term 2 Science, covering Environmental Science and Physical Science, in live, interactive online lessons. You'll help your students build a strong understanding of the natural and physical world while developing curiosity, scientific thinking and confidence.

Hours and timezone: Teaching runs from January to March 2027, with onboarding completed by December 2026. Lessons are scheduled in Spain/Italy time (CET): Monday 9:15 to 10:15am, Wednesday 9:15 to 10:15am, and Thursday 9:15 to 11:15am. This role is fully remote, so it suits teachers based in or near European time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Environmental Science and Physical Science.
  • Teach key concepts such as ecosystems and sustainability, energy, forces and motion, matter and its properties, and the relationship between people and the environment.
  • Guide students through the scientific method, including asking questions, carrying out simple investigations, recording observations and drawing conclusions.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools, such as virtual labs, simulations and interactive resources, to create a supportive and interactive online classroom.
  • Assess student progress, provide helpful feedback, and adapt your teaching to support strong outcomes.
  • Set meaningful homework, activities and assessments.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with students, families and the CGA team about progress.
  • Contribute to CGA's learning resources and help us keep improving the student experience.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience in a school setting (please note that, while valuable, tutoring experience cannot be counted towards this requirement).
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Science Education or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Environmental Science and Physical Science.
  • Availability for the full lesson schedule above, January to March 2027.
  • Exceptional communication skills for working with students, parents and the CGA team.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognised teaching qualification, such as a teaching degree, licence or postgraduate certificate in education.
  • Previous online teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Environmental Science or Physical Science at middle or high school level.
  • Experience teaching an international or US curriculum.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
