About the team

Python Backend Engineer 2

We are a bunch of passionate researchers, engineers, and designers who came

together to build a product that can revolutionize the way any research-intensive

projects are done. Reducing cognitive load and helping people to convert information

into knowledge, is at the core of our mission. Our engineering team is building a

scalable platform that deals with tons of data, AI processing over the data, and

interactions of users from across the globe. We believe research plays a key role in

making the world a better place, and we want to make it easy to approach and fun to

do!

We are growing and are looking to expand our team with some rockstar engineers.

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack developer to help us enhance the

product, ensure we scale seamlessly to grow and serve a global userbase of several

millions, and venture into newer business avenues with our product/technology.

Role overview

We are looking for a Backend Application Developer (Java+Python) with experience

in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

Professional profile we are looking for

Must have

3-5 years of experience in developing highly scalable applications as a backend

developer (Java + Python). Python(Django) fluency is a must.

Working knowledge/experience with the Spring Boot framework.

Knowledge of the Java Concurrency Utilities framework.

Solid understanding of micro-services and REST APIs

Bonus

Knowledge or understanding of Apache Kafka, Cloud computing in AWS

Understanding of any front end frameworks (Angular/Vue/React)
