About the Job

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Administrator to join a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise collaboration platforms and related infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring the stability, security, performance, and availability of SharePoint environments while providing technical expertise, user support, and automation capabilities.

The successful candidate will manage SharePoint farms, administer Windows Server environments, implement security best practices, support end-users, and contribute to the continuous improvement of collaboration services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint farm environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SharePoint platforms and associated infrastructure components.
  • Administer and monitor Windows Server environments supporting SharePoint services.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management, and operational tasks.
  • Manage SharePoint site collections, content structures, user permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitor platform performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint, infrastructure, connectivity, and access-related issues.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, backup strategies, and compliance measures to protect business-critical information.
  • Support disaster recovery, system maintenance, and platform lifecycle management activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Deliver user training and contribute to knowledge transfer activities when required.
  • Apply Microsoft best practices, patches, updates, and security recommendations to maintain a stable and secure environment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to support ongoing projects and service improvements.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and administering SharePoint 2016 and/or SharePoint 2019 environments.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, and/or 2022).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SharePoint farm architecture, site collection administration, and content management.
  • Good understanding of authentication mechanisms, network security, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server administration in a SharePoint environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing platform performance.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
