Account Executive

Salary: $120K – $150K (OTE: $240K – $300K)

About This Role

We are looking for an Account Executive with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, competent seller who is curious enough to quickly learn the government procurement space. We are hiring two to three AEs to round out our team of seven and help us continue our rapid growth.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Run the full sales cycle from discovery calls to closing deals with government contractors.
  • Become an expert on the GovDash platform and deliver compelling software demos.
  • Build relationships with potential clients, including C-level executives at mid-market companies and heads of growth at larger enterprises.
  • Work with the engagement team to onboard new customers.
  • Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams to help shape the future of the platform.

Role Details

  • Salary: $120K – $150K (OTE: $240K – $300K)
  • Equity: Competitive equity
  • Hybrid Work Policy: 4 days in-office, ideally in Arlington, VA or also open to New York, NY.
  • Visa Sponsorship Details: Not open to any visas (e.g. US citizen, Green Card holders)
  • Employment Type: Full-time position
  • Hiring Count: Looking to hire 2 – 3 candidates for this role
  • Location: Washington, DC

Requirements

Role Requirements

Seniority

  • Required: 2 – 5 years of experience in a full-cycle B2B software sales role, with some experience demoing a complex product.

Work Experience

  • Must have: Proven track record as an Account Executive or strong spike in related space (e.g., ability to understand govt. procurement, contract-related workflows, military.)
  • Must have: Previous experience demoing a complex software product.
  • Required: Experience selling a platform product with ACVs of $50k+.
  • Nice to have: (Strong plus) Experience in government procurement / federal sales / general procurement.

Education

  • Required: Military background is a strong plus.

Soft Skills

  • Must have: Selling to a variety of audiences (e.g., CEO, CTO, CFO, Head of Growth, etc.)
  • Nice to have: Competent and curious enough to quickly understand industry vernacular.

Miscellaneous

  • Must have: US work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not offered.
  • Required: Patriotism and/or experience at gov/defense companies (e.g., Anduril, Palantir, military); some exposure to this process.
