About the role We are looking for an Area Business Manager to drive sales and business growth across Maharashtra in the pharmaceutical sector.

What you'll do

  • Manage sales operations across the assigned territory
  • Lead and develop a team of sales representatives
  • Achieve sales targets and market share goals
  • Build relationships with doctors, hospitals and distributors
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Report on sales performance and forecasts

What we're looking for Essential

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of the Maharashtra market
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Based in Maharashtra, India
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Nice to have

  • Science or pharmacy degree
  • Experience with CRM and sales analytics
