About the Position
At Crown Mexico, we are seeking a Metal Accounting Analyst to support the analysis and control of general accounting, customs expenses, and fixed assets, ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor fixed asset transactions to maintain accurate company asset records.
- Analyze and verify the accounting and aging of Human Resources-related accounts.
- Record customs expenses and customs broker fees in a timely manner.
- Compile and control information related to customs duties, taxes, and expenses.
- Conduct physical fixed asset inventories to ensure proper asset control and tracking.
- Ensure the accuracy of related-party accounting information for audits and tax reporting purposes.
- Prepare and consolidate statistical information required by organizations such as INEGI and the Bank of Mexico.
- Analyze inventory balance reports to support operational and financial decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with SOX controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in General Accounting.
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets, Tax, and Foreign Trade processes.
- Experience with accounting analysis, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using SAP.
- English proficiency at a B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Fixed asset accounting.
- Import and export processes.
- Working with customs brokers.
- Preparation of statistical and tax-related reports.
- Participation in audits and SOX compliance activities.
