Job Summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Lead Shipping/Receiving Coordinator in USA Fontana, Ca.
Report to the Materials Manager, Lead Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, is responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving process and leading a team
What a typical day looks like:
- Oversees the work of assigned team employees.
- Prioritize the workload within the department.
- Assists with training new department personnel.
- Update the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system to provide visibility to downstream processes
- Assists team members with technical issues or problems with given assignments.
- Verifies and records all items unloaded for shipments; accurately maintains all shipping records and updates inventory management system
- Perform inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if material and product do not meet quality standards.
- Maintains inventory management systems to ensure that orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required
- Oversee shipping and receiving rejection and return process; completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage.
- Coordinates shipping of products with internal teams (production staff, project managers, etc.) and shipping carrier.
- Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
- Complete audits and reporting for department on various transactions including receiving receipts and receiving issues.
- Research discrepancies associated with invoices
- Make suggestions for improvement to receiving processes; update work instructions as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in shipping and receiving or related field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them, when appropriate.
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Strong understanding of inventory and warehouse management procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
- Ability to operate powered equipment including a forklift and scissors lift.
What the physical requirements are:
- Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time.
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor

The base pay range for this position is provided below. The final base rate offered will be determined using job-related, non-discriminatory criteria, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity.
