- Water Chemistry Management: Perform analysis on HRSG, auxiliary boiler, and cooling tower systems; control chemical feed and blowdown rates to maintain proper control ranges.

- Electrical & Mechanical Tasks: Open and close circuit breakers for system operation or electrical isolation, and perform piping and conduit installation for plant upgrades.

- Documentation & Systems: Utilize the facility’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and assist with the development of Operations and Maintenance procedures.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with vendors for chemical ordering and equipment repair, work with Plant Management on capital projects, and assist in administering the Operator training program.

- Facility Upkeep: Perform general housekeeping, painting, and continuous improvement tasks to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the plant and control room.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

- Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.

- Power Plant Expertise: Demonstrable knowledge of all facets of power plant operations and the ability to make competent decisions in emergency situations.

- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, and P&IDs.

- Maintenance Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment, as well as operating welding and cutting equipment.

- Communication & Software: Good verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Work Flexibility: Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts and availability for call-ins or work overload as needed.

- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
