Energy demand is growing for the first time in decades, driving an urgent need for more affordable and reliable electricity. More electricity requires new clean energy infrastructure and strong domestic supply chains for minerals and components as well as large amounts of capital.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Recruiter at Crux, you will be a strategic partner in scaling our Industry Coverage & Advisory teams. You will own full-cycle recruiting for roles across all levels. You may also jump in to help across other roles at Crux from time to time - helping us achieve our ambitious goals in 2027 and beyond!
Your expertise will be crucial in building a high-performing team that reflects Crux’s mission, values, and standards of excellence, and you’ll help hire top-tier talent and inform our strategy / approach on commercial hiring working with our leadership team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with hiring managers across commercial teams to understand role requirements and define hiring strategies.
- Own and manage the end-to-end recruiting process for all commercial roles.
- Source and engage top talent across finance, fintech, banking, advisory and clean energy markets.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines, particularly for revenue-generating and client-facing roles.
- Deliver a high-touch, inclusive candidate experience that reflects Crux’s brand and values.
- Analyze and report recruiting metrics to drive decisions and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with People/HR to refine processes, interview structure, and ensure our processes are inclusive and in line with our company values.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Industry specific expertise we prioritize experience recruiting for clean energy, renewables or manufacturing, with a focus on coverage, advisory and finance. Experience in banking, private equity and/or service providers in the clean energy and infrastructure sectors are examples of relevant expertise. Looking for ideally 5-7+ years of domain expertise.
- Track record: proven ability to hire top talent from the finance world into the high-growth startup, or a strong perspective on how to do so.
- Ready for a fast-paced startup environment: the idea of building from the ground up, iterating on an ongoing basis, and defining how we scale our commercial organization quickly working with leaders excites you.
- Full-Cycle Expertise: Strong experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to close.
- Collaboration and stakeholder management skills: Skilled at building trusted relationships with hiring managers and executives to help inform their approach on hiring/talent acquisition for their teams.
- Strategic advisor: You understand the market and have a POV to share with our time on how to land talent.
- Candidate Experience: Passionate about creating an inclusive, transparent, and respectful process.
- Tools: Proficiency with ATS systems, sourcing platforms, and cutting edge recruiting practices leveraging AI and data.

- Healthcare: We cover 100% of premiums for employees with a variety of plans on Aetna (nationwide) and Kaiser (WA and California) and subsidize 80% for dependents (total as a group), if relevant.

- Compensation:
- Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000+, depending on leveling. We are open on title and compensation for the right candidate. Independent of equity value and company wide bonus.
