Als Automation Engineer/Storingstechnieker kom je terecht in een hoogtechnologische productieomgeving regio Roeselare, waar je een sleutelrol speelt in het optimaal laten draaien van één afdeling binnen het machinepark. Je bent het technische eerste aanspreekpunt voor deze installatie en combineert analytisch inzicht met een hands-on aanpak om storingen snel en doeltreffend op te lossen.

In deze functie werk je in dagregime en krijg je veel autonomie, met tegelijk de juiste technische ondersteuning wanneer nodig. Je werkt in een moderne, sterk geautomatiseerde omgeving waar stilstand minimaliseren centraal staat en waar je dagelijks schakelt tussen interventies, afregeling, preventief onderhoud en technische opvolging.

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opsporen, analyseren en oplossen van elektrische en mechanische storingen aan moderne productiemachines.
  • Technische interventies uitvoeren om stilstanden te beperken en de continuïteit van het productieproces te bewaken.
  • Instellen, afregelen en verder op punt zetten van machines binnen jouw toegewezen afdeling.
  • Lezen, interpreteren en toepassen van elektrische schema's en technische plannen.
  • Werken met en inzicht hebben in PLC-systemen, frequentieregelaars, servosturing, netwerk- en bussystemen.
  • Detecteren en verhelpen van problemen aan motoren AC/DC, sensoren, veiligheidsrelais en aanverwante componenten.
  • Ook hydraulische en pneumatische storingen herkennen en mee oplossen.
  • Dagelijkse acties opvolgen, zoals smeerplannen, visuele controles en voorbereiden van geplande interventies.
  • Technische documentatie correct bijhouden en bevindingen helder rapporteren aan de technisch verantwoordelijke.
  • Na je inloopperiode de werking, bediening en afregeling van de installaties grondig beheersen.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een technisch sterke kandidaat die idealiter reeds een eerste ervaring binnen een productiebedrijf achter de rug heeft en met stevige affiniteit met industriële automatisatie en storingstechniek. Je hoeft niet alles al perfect te kennen, maar je moet wel voldoende basis hebben om snel zelfstandig te kunnen meewerken in een complexe productieomgeving.

Jouw profiel:

  • Bachelor denkniveau in elektromechanica, elektrotechniek of een gelijkwaardige technische achtergrond opgebouwd via ervaring.
  • Ervaring binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving is een duidelijke meerwaarde.
  • Goede kennis van PLC-systemen: kunnen begrijpen, herkennen en logisch analyseren van PLC-structuren.
  • Sterke kennis van elektrische en mechanische storingen, met inzicht in oorzaak-gevolg.
  • Kennis van motoren AC/DC, sensoren, frequentieregelaars, netwerk- en bussystemen en technische componenten zoals diodes en condensatoren.
  • Vlot elektrische schema's en technische plannen kunnen lezen en interpreteren.
  • Basiskennis of ervaring met hydrauliek en pneumatica.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, georganiseerd en met veel aandacht voor veiligheid en kwaliteit.
  • Je kan prioriteiten stellen en blijft rustig bij acute problemen of onverwachte storingen.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig werken als vlot samenwerken met collega's en externe technische partners.
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en/of Engels.
  • Bereid om te werken in dagregime.
