Als Purchase Officer werk je mee aan een vlot, correct en doordacht aankoopproces binnen een technische groothandel met een sterke logistieke werking. Vanuit Izegem neem je op termijn één of meerdere productcategorieën onder je hoede en zorg je voor een goede balans tussen commerciële afspraken, voorraadbeschikbaarheid en administratieve nauwkeurigheid.

Je rol is afwisselend en combineert operationele opvolging met meer strategisch meedenken. Je bouwt relaties uit met bestaande leveranciers, gaat actief op zoek naar nieuwe partners en bewaakt tegelijk de dagelijkse flow van aankoop, voorraad en aftersales. Je houdt overzicht, neemt initiatief en ziet snel waar processen efficiënter of sterker kunnen worden ingericht.

Jouw takenpakket omvat onder meer:

  • Onderhandelen en opvolgen van aankoopcondities met bestaande leveranciers.
  • Actief prospecteren naar nieuwe leveranciers en opportuniteiten, zowel in België als daarbuiten.
  • Zelfstandig aankopen beheren voor een aantal leveranciers of productlijnen.
  • Voorraadbeheer opvolgen voor het hoofdmagazijn en de filialen.
  • Inkooporders logistiek correct opvolgen en afwijkingen tijdig signaleren.
  • Artikel-, leveranciers- en logistieke data beheren en actualiseren in het ERP-systeem.
  • Aftersales en retouren coördineren, inclusief garantiegevallen en retouren van niet-stockartikelen.
  • Meedenken over verbeteringen in aankoop, voorraadorganisatie en administratieve flow.

Je komt terecht in een familiale omgeving waar korte lijnen, verantwoordelijkheid en betrokkenheid centraal staan. In deze functie krijg je de ruimte om mee impact te hebben op de werking van het aankoopproces en om je rol verder uit te bouwen naargelang je ervaring en inzicht groeien.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een nauwkeurige en zelfstandige professional met een eerste ervaring binnen technische aankoop. Je beschikt idealiter over een bachelor diploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring, en je voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar administratie, overleg en opvolging samenkomen.

Je herkent jezelf in iemand die analytisch werkt, snel schakelt en gestructureerd blijft onder druk. Je combineert een commerciële mindset met oog voor efficiëntie en correcte opvolging. Daarnaast ben je vlot in communicatie en durf je initiatief nemen wanneer een situatie actie vraagt.

Wat we van jou verwachten:

  • Bachelor denkniveau of gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen aankoop.
  • 3-5 jaar relevante werkervaring.
  • Sterke kennis van Excel en vlotte omgang met Office-toepassingen.
  • Snel wegwijs in een ERP-pakket of bereidheid om je daarin vlot in te werken.
  • Analytisch inzicht en een oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel intern als extern.
  • Proactieve houding en gevoel voor verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Structuur, nauwkeurigheid en een sterke opvolgingsmentaliteit.
  • Ervaring met voorraadbeheer, leveranciersopvolging of aftersales is een troef.

Je werkt graag met data en processen, maar verliest de praktische realiteit niet uit het oog. Je voelt je comfortabel in een rol waarin je zelfstandig beslissingen neemt, afstemt met verschillende partijen en mee bouwt aan een efficiënte werking.
