Onze klant in Aalst is de magazijnvestiging waar 25 medewerkers werken. Zij verzorgen de opslag en distributie van onderdelen voor auto's, boten, motorfietsen en power products zoals bladblazers. Het magazijn is onderdeel een grote Europese groep dat in België ongeveer 500 medewerkers telt en bekend staat als een sterke speler in de automotive sector.

Jobomschrijving

Als Supervisor Logistiek in Aalst (Oost-Vlaanderen, België) ben je verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig organiseren en waarborgen van de dagelijkse operationele activiteiten binnen jouw magazijnafdeling. In deze rol zorg je voor een efficiënte goederenstroom en behaal je de doelstellingen op het gebied van kwaliteit, doorlooptijd, veiligheid en milieu. Je stuurt een team van twee supervisors en een grotere groep van ongeveer 25 operationele medewerkers aan, en draagt actief bij aan procesoptimalisaties en systeemtransities. Je werkt nauw samen met interne afdelingen zoals Quality, HSE en HR, en externe partners zoals transporteurs en leveranciers, met regelmatig rapportages aan het Operations Management.

  • Aansturen en motiveren van teamcoaches en medewerkers.
  • Opstellen en aanpassen van operationele planningen, inclusief manpower- en equipmentplanning.
  • Toezien op naleving van kwaliteits-, veiligheids- en milieunormen bij de uitvoering van werkzaamheden.
  • Ondersteunen van de implementatie van nieuwe processen en systemen, met een focus op draagvlak en adoptie.
  • Evalueren van prestaties, beheren van absenteïsme en verlof, en voeren van ontwikkelgesprekken.
  • Creëren van groeikansen voor talent binnen het team en stimuleren van training en polyvalentie.
  • Vastleggen en monitoren van KPI’s en proactief voorstellen doen ter verbetering van processen en productiviteit.

Om succesvol te zijn als Supervisor Logistiek, beschik je over een sterke mix van ervaring, vaardigheden en persoonlijkheid. De ideale kandidaat heeft:

  • Een bachelor diploma of een gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar leidinggevende ervaring, bij voorkeur in een logistieke omgeving.
  • Uitstekende leiderschaps- en communicatieve vaardigheden; je motiveert, inspireert en overtuigt.
  • Hands-on mentaliteit gecombineerd met oplossingsgericht en creatief denken.
  • Vaardigheden in change management en procesoptimalisaties; ervaring met systeemtransities is een grote plus.
  • Grondige kennis van Office 365; ervaring met SAP is gewenst.
  • Een sterke focus op veiligheid en milieubewustzijn.
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal; extra talen zijn een pluspunt.
  • Een dynamische, flexibele en proactieve werkhouding.
