The posting

  • Als Teamlead Warehouse Weekend stuur je de dagelijkse warehouseactiviteiten aan in Machelen, binnen een internationale transportomgeving waar zendingen zorgvuldig en tijdig verwerkt moeten worden.
  • Je coördineert de werking van donderdag tot en met maandag: op donderdag, vrijdag en maandag tussen 9.00 en 18.00 uur, en op zaterdag en zondag binnen een uurregeling tussen 7.00 en 18.00 uur.
  • De planning, taakverdeling en opvolging van de medewerkers liggen in jouw handen. Zo zorg je ervoor dat de beschikbare capaciteit efficiënt wordt ingezet en de operationele afspraken worden nageleefd.
  • Op de werkvloer geef je duidelijke instructies, bewaak je de productiviteit en stuur je bij wanneer prioriteiten, volumes of omstandigheden veranderen.
  • Klachten en operationele problemen onderzoek je grondig. Je zoekt naar de oorzaak, past procedures aan wanneer dat nodig is en vertaalt je bevindingen naar heldere rapportages voor het management.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met andere teamleads en vormt een betrouwbare gesprekspartner voor de directie. Samen zorgen jullie voor een consistente aanpak en een vlotte samenwerking binnen het warehouse.
  • Door verbeteringen in processen en werkmethodes te signaleren en uit te voeren, verhoog je de efficiëntie zonder de kwaliteit en veiligheid uit het oog te verliezen.
  • Je brengt 5 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring mee in een leidinggevende functie binnen een warehouse- of logistieke omgeving. Die ervaring helpt je om snel prioriteiten te stellen en medewerkers doelgericht aan te sturen.
  • Een rustige, stressbestendige aanpak is belangrijk: ook bij tijdsdruk of onverwachte situaties behoud je het overzicht en neem je onderbouwde beslissingen.
  • Je communiceert helder en respectvol in een multiculturele werkomgeving. Voor deze functie heb je een goede kennis van het Nederlands, een zeer goede kennis van het Frans en een goede kennis van het Engels nodig.
  • Met je motiverende stijl krijg je medewerkers mee in afspraken en verbeteringen, terwijl je neutraal en consequent blijft in je beslissingen.
  • Je kunt vlot werken met courante pc-toepassingen en beschikt over de nauwkeurigheid om productiviteitsgegevens, klachten en operationele rapporten correct op te volgen.
