The posting

  • Als werfleider neem je de dagelijkse leiding op werven voor spoorinfrastructuur, met focus op bovenleidingen, montagewerken, funderingen en ondersteunende staalconstructies.
  • De planning wordt jouw werkbare overzicht: je stemt werkzaamheden, materiaal, machines en onderaannemers op elkaar af zodat de ploeg veilig en volgens afspraak kan werken.
  • Je stuurt doorgaans een team van 8 tot 10 monteurs en spoorwegarbeiders aan. Duidelijke instructies, consequente opvolging en respectvolle communicatie zorgen voor een sterke samenwerking op de werf.
  • Technische uitdagingen los je zelfstandig op, ook tijdens nachtelijke interventies. Je beoordeelt de situatie, neemt een onderbouwde beslissing en houdt de betrokken partijen op de hoogte.
  • Digitale dagrapporten, materiaalbestellingen, werkvoorbereiding en toolboxmomenten maken deel uit van je verantwoordelijkheid. Zo blijft de uitvoering traceerbaar en kan het projectteam tijdig bijsturen.
  • Veiligheid staat centraal in elke beslissing. Je bewaakt procedures, spreekt mensen aan wanneer dat nodig is en creëert een werkomgeving waarin risico’s bespreekbaar blijven.
  • Je werkt hoofdzakelijk rechtstreeks op werven verspreid over België en komt gemiddeld ongeveer één keer per twee weken naar de kantooromgeving in Mechelen voor overleg en afstemming.
  • Een technische of bouwkundige opleiding op bachelor- of graduaatsniveau vormt een goede basis. Ook relevante ervaring in bouw, elektromechanica, montage of spoorinfrastructuur komt in aanmerking.
  • Je brengt idealiter 5 tot 10 jaar ervaring mee in een technische werfomgeving, waarvan ervaring met het coördineren van werkzaamheden of het aansturen van teams een duidelijke meerwaarde is.
  • Technisch inzicht in mechanische constructies, funderingen, staalwerken of elektrische infrastructuur helpt je om snel verbanden te leggen en correcte prioriteiten te bepalen.
  • Als people manager combineer je duidelijke grenzen met een faire en benaderbare stijl. Dat is belangrijk om vertrouwen op te bouwen met ervaren vakmensen en tegelijk de kwaliteit en veiligheid te bewaken.
  • Je bent bereid om regelmatig ’s nachts en in het weekend te werken. De planning is doorgaans ongeveer vier weken vooraf bekend; een rijbewijs en bereidheid om naar verschillende werven te reizen zijn noodzakelijk voor deze functie.
