  • Als Werkplaatsverantwoordelijke neem je de dagelijkse leiding over de werkplaats in Sint-Truiden en zorg je dat mensen, materiaal en planning goed op elkaar afgestemd zijn.
  • Je verdeelt de werkzaamheden, bewaakt de voortgang en grijpt tijdig in wanneer prioriteiten wijzigen of deadlines onder druk komen te staan.
  • De kwaliteit, veiligheid en ordelijkheid van de werkplaats liggen mee in jouw handen. Je maakt afspraken concreet en volgt op dat ze consequent worden toegepast.
  • Door technisch inzicht en een praktische blik help je medewerkers bij vragen, problemen en onverwachte situaties. Je zoekt oplossingen die werken in de dagelijkse praktijk.
  • Je coördineert het gebruik en onderhoud van gereedschappen, machines en andere werkplaatsmiddelen, zodat het werk efficiënt en veilig kan verlopen.
  • Regelmatig stem je af met andere betrokkenen over planning, beschikbare capaciteit, materiaalbehoeften en de status van lopende werkzaamheden.
  • Als werkplaatscoördinator bouw je mee aan een duidelijke werkwijze en een aangename, professionele werkomgeving waarin collega’s weten wat er van hen wordt verwacht en ondersteuning krijgen wanneer dat nodig is.
  • Je brengt bij voorkeur 5 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring mee in een werkplaats-, productie- of technische werkomgeving, met ervaring in het organiseren of aansturen van werkzaamheden.
  • Technisch inzicht, verantwoordelijkheidszin en het vermogen om snel prioriteiten te bepalen helpen je om de werkplaats vlot en kwaliteitsgericht te laten functioneren.
  • Je communiceert duidelijk en respectvol met collega’s en andere contactpersonen. Dat is belangrijk om afspraken begrijpelijk te maken, problemen vroeg te signaleren en samenwerking soepel te houden.
  • Plannen, opvolgen en bijsturen liggen je goed: je behoudt het overzicht zonder de praktische details uit het oog te verliezen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, spreekt anderen op een constructieve manier aan en neemt initiatief wanneer je kansen ziet om veiligheid, kwaliteit of efficiëntie te verbeteren.
