Job Description

We are looking for a talented Forging Press Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN.

Job Summary:

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Ensuring Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe work environment for everyone.

• Compliance and Reporting: Your adherence to HSE standards and prompt reporting of any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.

• Quality Assurance: Performing quality inspections and identifying non-conforming materials will help maintain high product standards and reduce costs.

• Efficient Production: Operating equipment to meet customer expectations and achieving production goals will ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Workplace Organization: Maintaining a clean and orderly work area will enhance productivity and safety.

• Team Collaboration: Effective communication with your team and support staff will foster a collaborative work environment and improve overall efficiency.

Base Rate: $20.51 - $23.75/hr

Shift Premium: $1.00/hr
