NOW HIRING: Plumbing Dispatcher

Home Love Plumbing | Clearwater, FL | Full-Time | In-Office

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (with lunch)Additional Availability: Evening and weekend phone coverage required Language: Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus

One of our client's, Home Love Plumbing, is seeking a proactive, organized Plumbing Dispatcher to manage incoming calls, coordinate plumber schedules, and keep daily operations running efficiently. This is more than a receptionist or scheduling position. You'll play a key role in keeping appointments booked, following up with customers, securing deposits, and ensuring every service van has a full schedule.

The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable asking for commitments, quick with technology, and motivated by results. No plumbing experience is required for someone who is eager to learn and take initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls, messages, and online leads while converting inquiries into booked appointments.
  • Coordinate daily schedules for plumbers and maintain appointments in Housecall Pro.
  • Follow up on open estimates, secure customer approvals and deposits, and schedule completed jobs.
  • Reconnect with previous customers, property managers, and general contractors to generate additional business.
  • Handle customer questions, pricing discussions, and scheduling changes professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records, referral sources, and production statistics.
  • Assist with larger job quotes and permit paperwork as responsibilities expand.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent English (required); Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence handling phone conversations throughout the day.
  • Comfortable following up with customers, asking for commitments, and collecting deposits.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Independent, proactive, and solutions-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Office experience preferred; experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
  • Must have a personal laptop or computer for daily use (tablets and iPads are not sufficient).
